First Aid Training at Smartech Italia: A Commitment to Everyday Well-being
On Saturday, February 8th, a first aid training course focusing on airway clearance techniques and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/BLSD) was held at the Smartech Italia offices. The initiative saw the active participation of two-thirds of the employees, highlighting the importance of safety and emergency preparedness both in the workplace and in everyday life.
The course, conducted by the Italian Red Cross (Committee of San Vito al Tagliamento - Azzano Decimo), provided participants with practical skills useful in various situations, covering key topics such as:
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR/BLSD): Life-saving techniques that allow timely intervention in the event of a cardiac arrest.
- Airway clearance techniques for adults and children: Strategies for dealing with choking emergencies, with a specific focus on pediatric airway clearance, essential for anyone caring for children.
- Managing health emergencies: How to handle critical situations such as fainting, burns, or anaphylactic shock, whether at work or in everyday life.
Smartech Italia believes that first aid training is primarily a way to improve the quality of life of its employees and those around them, while also being an investment in ensuring greater safety within the company. These skills can make a difference during critical moments, both at home and in public settings, enabling individuals to act promptly to help those in need.
To support this commitment, a defibrillator will soon be installed outside the company, making it available to the local community in case of emergencies.
Smartech Italia will continue to promote training initiatives that go beyond the workplace, always putting people's well-being and safety at the forefront.
